dc.description.abstract The research aims to analyse the schemes to resolve disputes between financial service providers and consumers in Ireland through alternative dispute resolution mechanisms. Thus, the objectives of this research are: • To critically assess the impact of decreasing consumer trust in financial institutions due to unresolved complaints. • To explore the different schemes of ADR with Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman in Ireland. • To determine the level of satisfaction with Complaints closed through Dispute Resolution Service in Ireland.
