dc.description.abstract The COVID-19 pandemic has abruptly and unexpectedly changed the hospitality sector, exposing certain labour weaknesses. The COVID-19 situation is probably going to have an acceleration effect on the effects of technology adoption, reduced labour pools, and workplace dangers. According to current forecasts, 24% of the job losses brought on by COVID may be permanent (Borrero et al., 2020)
